Some of you may know that I went through a Julie Andrews phase a few years ago and watched a bunch of her movies and read some of her books. How can you not love Mary Poppins?
Another woman who I adore, is Sue, the speech therapist who I worked with last year at Creekside... She always was using the word "perseverate" to describe the actions of our autistic children (some of them had the tendancy to get 'stuck').
Tonight, I was randomly flipping through the planner provided to me by CSU for free (the ONLY free thing) and found a quote by Julie Andrews, it reads: "Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th." It brought a smile to my face.
