Trip Tomorrow!

Tomorrow Matt and I leave for our two week trip to the West Coast.... WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!
First, we will be flying into Portland and staying with his sister Sally, brother-in-law Matt and new Nephew Cade. We will be there until Wednesday, when we start our drive down the coast for 5 days or so... checking out all sorts of cool stuff like the Redwood Forest until we get down to the San Fransisco area and stay with Matt's brother Sean, sister-in-law Fiona and new Niece Lindsay. We will be staying there for 5ish days as well.
We are so excited! We will be bring the camera, so hopefully we will get some good pictures. :)

Lacy

As Matt and I left Conor O'Neil's, this girl sitting on the patio asked if we could give her a ride. Thinking that she had drank too much and just needed to get home, we said yes.
NEVER DO THIS!
First she said she wanted to get something to eat.. at the Taco Bell on Baseline. This was no problem as it is very close to our house and I figured that she was just drunk and needed to eat to absorb some of the booze. As soon as we got in the car we should have known better. She STANK. BAD.
Then she started talking about how she had a panic attack. And she was from California... 'Oh, what part?' "UMMMM What's it called? (PAUSE) San Francisco."
Then we saw a cop car and I mentioned something about it... "It's a government cop too" is her response.
Oh boy. By the time we get to Taco Bell she has basically told us that she is homeless and familyless and hasnt eaten in days. Great.
Then we were gonna take her 'home' or wherever she was staying and she started getting worried that no one was going to be there to let her in. I was scared she was going to ask to stay with us. NO WAY.
Luckily, she thought she recognized the car that pulled in before us at the apartment complex that she requested, so we got out of that one.
Nothing about the experience was terrible, just the possiblity of it turning into something terrible was definitely on the forefront of my mind. Everything she said was a garbled mess and I think she was either A) on drugs or B) had some sort of emotional/mental/anxiety problem. Most likely a combination of both.
Moral of the story: Don't give strangers a ride home, even if they pluck their eyebrows and look 'normal'.
