ENGAGED!

Matt and I went for a hike yesterday up to Cub Lake up in Rocky Mountain National Park .. When we finally got there, in the heat, I tried to sit down and relax... But Matt made me stand back up so he could get down on a knee and propose. :)

Answer to any questions: WE HAVE NO PLANS MADE YET.. other than the wedding will probably be next summer in Colorado.

And yes, we were gross and sweaty and dehydrated. It was hot and an uphill hike and we took the pictures right away instead of waiting until we drank some water and cooled down. Oh well.

Ironic

Jay sent me this article...
For those of you not in Colorado, Coors is based about 30 minutes from where we live and is promoted like crazy, although many Colorado residents prefer the varity of mircobrews found in the area. Coors is kind of a joke among 'real' beer drinkers here.

Ally McBeal

Thank you YOUTUBE! I know that some of you may not share the love for Ally McBeal like I do, but this is one of the best clips from the show!

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

As some of you may know, Matt really likes funny movies. And Will Ferrell. In less than a month, we will be watching his new movie in which he plays a NASCAR driver. Based on the movie's website Matt will be laughing his booty off (and the rest of the theater at him). For those of you who have never watched a comedy with Matt, I highly suggest that you do. His laugh makes it 1000 times funnier.

Housing!

We got assigned our housing for next year. WAHOO! Here is the floor plan. It will be so nice not to have to worry about the cost of utilities since it is all included in the rent.

bubbles

So, these aren't pictures of our trip, but of yesterday instead. We bought a 75 cent gumball and split it. Then proceeded to blow huge bubbles and leave them on our face. It was the most fun I've ever had for 75 cents. Until I had to clean it off my eyelashes.
