Estes Park
On Friday, Karen and I went up to Estes Park to look into some wedding business and to enjoy the fact that we are done with class by 10. It was Karen's first Colorado snow and she was happy. I saw the scary machine that tried to eat me and my G'ma one spring. We found out that it can throw 1,800 tons of snow per hour, YIKES!
Also, there was a very large hawk that we were impressed with.
Yoko and Chiho
Thursday night, we had 2 OT students who were visiting from Japan over for dinner. Meggie, a girl from school came over to visit with them as well. We discussed music, driving, pimps, and a variety of other things. Giggled a lot. I served them beef stew, biscuits and salad. Meggie brought apple pie and ice cream for dessert. It was a blast!

Jurassic 5!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday morning, Matt and I checked out a venue for the wedding and then tasted some cakes, YUM!
Saturday Night we went to the Jurassic 5 concert at Red Rocks. It was amazing! I can definitely see how people end up spending a lot of money to go to shows there... I wish we had gotten there a little bit earlier so I could have take some pictures when it was still light out. Next time.
Sunday I went to a bridal show with my mom and Emma. On the way home, we stopped by a Greek Festival and ate some good food. WAHOO!

Labor Day
Dan and Sarah came up on Labor day and played Mexican Train Dominoes with us. Dan really liked the train noises he could dance to. We also enjoyed some Faygo. It was a great way to end a long weekend. Oh, and just for the record, us girls came in first and second with the boys bringing up the rear...as usual.
Football
Saturday we went to the CSU football game.. WAHOO! For some reason, we started acting like thugs.... really, why not? Also, I was showing off my Ithaca is Gorges shirt that Kevin sent... perfect colors to wear to a CSU game. Lastly, we saw a really big pumpkin and Matt was trying to show just how big it was by putting his hat on it. I am amazed it has lasted this long in a college town!

Vail
Matt and I went to a wedding last weekend in Vail. The view from our room was awesome. At the wedding, there was a girl there with almost the exact same dress... good thing I am not the kind of girl that would be bothered by such things! They had a bunch of Orchids and candles hanging, which was really pretty (it kind of looks like snow in this picture)... and they had a few alternatives to their wedding cake, so we had to get a pic of me with all of the desserts (since I am an addict).
